Massage therapy

A good massage can help you feel better.  When massage therapy is a part of a formal rehab plan - or when you're stressed and just want to relax - the licensed massage therapists (LMTs) at the Therapy & Wellness Center can combine the right touch and technique to help you feel comfortable.  We also offer prenatal massage therapy by our massage therapists.

You feel better because massage can:

• Lower the production of Cortisol, the stress hormone, helping you relax and feel less tense
• Reduce swelling, spasms, stiffness, aches and pain
• Increase muscle flexibility
• Increase arm and leg mobility and range of motion
• Enhance cell and immune system functioning

Gift certificates are available for massages.

For an appointments, please call 573-468-1340.  Appointments available Monday through Friday and Saturdays.

For Therapy appointments, you will enter the hospital at the Outpatient Registration entrance to the left of the Emergency Entrance.  Take the hall to the left where the Therapy Registration windows are on the left side at the end of the hall.  To speed up your registration process, you may click and print the the forms you need for New Therapy Patient paperwork or New Massage Client paperwork.  Fill out your forms and bring them with you to your appointment.

Independent Wellness Program 

This program allows participants to have 24/7 access to our Therapy & Wellness Center for a self-guided exercise program. Participation in the Independent Wellness Program includes the following:

• An order from your Primary Care Provider indicating you are medically cleared to exercise. (Provider order will need to be updated annually to continue use of the facility.)
• An initial orientation session by a member of our Therapy & Wellness Center Staff.
• Monthly communication with your Primary Care Provider to assess progress towards goals and facilitate additional education as needed.

Please note, the Independent Wellness Program is a self-pay service of $40.20 per month, not billable to insurance.
