Auxiliary group makes a positive impact at MBSH

At MBSH, the Auxiliary, more commonly known as the “Pink Ladies,” was organized three days after the hospital opened in 1962. Since then the Auxiliary collectively has dedicated thousands of service hours and through its fundraising efforts has purchased over $263,000 in hospital equipment. The group has:

  • contributed to the purchase of an ambulance
  • provided a hospital maintenance vehicle
  • purchased equipment for rehab
  • purchased numerous wheelchairs and other medical equipment.

The Auxiliary also has helped numerous students pursuing medical careers through scholarships. To date, they have awarded more than $167,000 in educational scholarships.

We would like to share a special THANK YOU to our Auxiliary volunteers for their dedication and service to the hospital and patients we serve.
