Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital Recognizes June Employee of the Month

Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital Recognizes June Employee of the Month

Congratulations to our June Employee of the Month, Julia Henson!

Julia joined MBSH in 2012 and is a patient care tech in New Hope. Following are testaments of Julia’s commitment to her patients:

  • “One shift, we had a very aggressive patient in the unit who scared the other patients. Julia went above and beyond to keep the other patients engaged to focused on their own treatment. Her extra work made all the difference to the unit patients. She protected their peace when it could have been a tense and frightening time for them. Julia is a professional who makes me proud to have her for a colleague.”
  • "She is always working to do patient-focused care and has the experience and expertise to do an amazing job."
  • "She has great patience, professional skills and never complains. She exemplifies BJC values by always striving to be the best."

For the recognition, Julia received a certificate, pin, 100 BJC Shines points and a reserved parking spot for one month.

For Daniel Jones, 62, of Cuba, Mo., working as a drywall taper was something he enjoyed for many years. It was a physically demanding job with hauling heavy supplies, balancing on stilts, and working long hours. He never thought a seemingly minor injury would force him to not only retire earlier than expected but it almost cost him his foot.
