Mary Bjornstad, FNP, Retiring the End of the Year

One of the biggest changes Mary has witnessed since she started in 2002 is the introduction and use of the electronic medical record, as well as advancements in lab, imaging, medications, diagnostics and treatments.

Mary will be remembered for her strong work ethic, dedication to MBSH and BJC, and her commitment to the care of our patients.

Upon retirement, Mary notes she’ll be doing, “Whatever I want!” with plans to spend more time with friends and family – especially her new grandbaby! – as well as run, hike, sew and travel.

Mary says she’ll miss the people here at MBSH the most – her co-workers and patients.

“I have been blessed to work with fantastic doctors, nurse practitioners, nurses, medical assistants and administration staff members, and our wonderful patients,” says Mary.

Thank you, Mary, for your dedication and service to our hospital and community, and best wishes for a wonderful retirement!
