Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital Now Offering Additional Gastroenterology Procedure

Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital is pleased to announce the addition of a new medical service, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP). ERCP is a combination of endoscopy and x-ray imaging to help diagnose and treat patients with issues such as pancreatitis and gallstones.

BJC Medical Group gastroenterology specialist at Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital, Mohammad Firozi, MD performs ERCP procedures and is excited to offer this service in Sullivan.

“We can help patients in our community who need these procedures stay close to home and still receive the extraordinary care they deserve,” said Laura Lewis, surgery nurse manager at Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital.
