MBSH Auxiliary presents generous donation to the hospital

On Jan. 28, the MBSH Auxiliary contributed $11,000 to our hospital, a sum raised through multiple fundraising activities held in 2024. “We appreciate the MBSH Auxiliary for this generous contribution," said Lisa Lochner, president of MBSH. "Their unwavering support has been instrumental to our mission, and their dedication to our hospital is highly commendable.”

The donation helped purchase:

  • Call lights for Medical and Surgery
  • New patient bags for Oncology and Infusion
  • 50 blood pressure cuffs for preeclampsia patients
  • Blood draw cart for our Laboratory

Established three days after the opening of our hospital, the MBSH Auxiliary, commonly referred to as the "Pink Ladies," plays a significant role in supporting our health care facility. Since 1962, the auxiliary allocated more than $263,164 toward the procurement of hospital equipment. Their contributions include funding for an ambulance, a maintenance truck, rehabilitation equipment, and various wheelchairs and medical supplies.
