Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital Recognizes April Employee of the Month

Tara Schreit, clinical pharmacist lead (center right), poses with MBSH leadership and Tip Ettinger, MBSH pharmacy manager.

A long-time employee, Tara has been with MBSH since 2005 and is a stellar representative of Our BJC Values.

She is one of the quiet and dedicated employees who is always willing and available to help. Tara serves as a key mentor and an informal leader for the pharmacy staff, providing coaching and sharing of her professional knowledge.

When needed, Tara steps in to assist the pharmacy manager, Tip Ettinger, and is always willing to tackle special projects in addition to her daily work that the pharmacy does for HSOs and patients.

We congratulate Tara for being selected as MBSH’s Employee of the Month. For this recognition, she received a certificate, pin, 100 BJC Shines points and a reserved parking spot for one month.

Where One Mom Found Quality Medical Care and Reassuring Guidance, Conveniently Close to Home (and Work)

For most of her life, Steelville, Mo. resident, Abigail Wishon, 29, sought medical care in Washington, Mo. It was convenient and relatively close to where she lived. When she learned she was pregnant in 2020, she called a few Ob/Gyns in Washington, Mo., but was unable to get an appointment. Fortunately, Wishon found Amirah Tan Abdullah, MD, an Ob/Gyn at Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital somewhat by accident. She was also able to get an appointment with her relatively quickly. Turns out, Dr. Tan was exactly who Wishon was looking for to help guide her through her prenatal journey.
