Honoring David Hartwick’s 33 years of service

After a remarkable 33-year career with Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital, David Hartwick will retire on Feb. 28. His journey began in 1991 as an accounting assistant at MBSH, and through the years, he took on multiple roles across various departments, most recently serving as executive assistant. David’s adaptability and dedication have made a lasting impact across many areas of MBSH.

“David has been an invaluable member of our team, contributing not only to my work but also to the overall success of the hospital. His dedication, professionalism, and spirit will be missed,” says Carmen Bartolotta, vice president, patient care services, chief nursing officer, and chief operating officer.

David has played a key role in major projects, including the consolidation of payroll systems during a hospital merger and the automation of supply management. One of his proudest moments was helping preserve the hospital’s history for MBSH’s 50th anniversary celebration in 2012.

David expresses that he will truly miss the connections and friendships he has built over the past thirty years, along with the thrill of new hospital advancements and services. As he steps into retirement, he is eager to embrace a slower, more relaxed lifestyle.

Join us for David's farewell open house on Friday, Feb. 28, 8-9 a.m., in the MBSH administrative boardroom.

Thank you, David, for 33 incredible years!
