MBSH names its October Employee of the Month

Russ has been a member of the MBSH team for just over a year, serving as an officer in the security department. He has contributed significantly to the security team by sharing his extensive knowledge and experience, particularly in training less experienced officers.

His capacity to adapt to various situations reflects the core values of BJC. He has received recognition for his willingness to assist staff in cleaning rooms and escorting patients. Russ consistently demonstrates compassion and kindness towards everyone he encounters. He actively seeks to establish personal connections and is often seen with a smile on his face.

Recently, during a particularly busy period in the ER, he noticed the need for assistance in transferring a patient from a stretcher to a recliner. He promptly offered his help, greeted the patient warmly and facilitated the transfer, even going the extra mile to provide a warm blanket.

Russ is the type of employee who arrives to assist before being asked. His background as a former law enforcement officer enhances his ability to assess situations and respond with professionalism, making him a valuable asset to our team.

Congratulations and keep up the great work Russ!
